A pair of lightweight earrings, comfortable and designed for daily wear, engraved with the Hebrew word עולה, she rises, and set with natural citrine gemstones.
 
The phrase that inspired this piece comes from Shir HaShirim:
“מי זאת עולה מקוטרת מור ולבונה”
“She that rises, perfumed with myrrh and frankincense.”
 
Shir HaShirim, attributed to King Solomon, is considered one of the most sacred and poetic texts in Jewish tradition. It is a song of love, longing, and devotion, often understood as a dialogue between humanity and the Divine Feminine.
 
In Jewish mysticism, the Divine is often described through a masculine quality of giving, while humanity is associated with a feminine quality of receiving. When our ability to receive love, abundance, and presence becomes blocked, divine light can feel distant or concealed. As we rise and reopen ourselves, we return to our natural state, receptive, open, and able to perceive creation as it truly is.
 
There is another layer here, the place of the feminine in our world. As society slowly learns to honor feminine wisdom, sensitivity, and leadership, this rising takes on both a spiritual and deeply human meaning.
 
Citrine
These earrings are set with natural citrine gemstones, associated with confidence, vitality, abundance, and radiant personal power. Citrine carries a warm, solar energy, supportive without force, strong without hardness, much like the feminine nature.
