The word שפע means abundance in Hebrew and shares its root with השפעה - to influence, to affect.
In Kabbalistic thought, השפעה - the act of giving and positively affecting others - is a foundational principle.
The sages teach that our purpose in this world is
לקבל בשביל להשפיע  -  to receive in order to bestow.
The word Kabbalah itself means to receive. It is the study of receptivity -  learning how to open ourselves as vessels for divine flow, so that what we receive may move onward into the world.
 
From this perspective, the desire for abundance is not egoic.
It is a sacred responsibility: to fill our cup so that we may pour from its overflow - expanding wellbeing, care, and generosity around us.
This bracelet is worn as an anchor for openness, trust, and conscious circulation of abundance.
